Soalheiro ALLO is a Vinho Verde (green wine) made from the Alvarinho and Loureiro grape varieties, produced by the Quinta de Soalheiro winery under the Vinho Verde DOC (Controlled Designation of Origin) in the Minho region in northern Portugal. It is usually produced from local grapes such as Alvarinho, Loureiro, Arinto and Azal.

Tasting notes: Tropical fruits on the nose from the Alvarinho grape variety and floral and elegant nuances from the Loureiro variety. The palate is fresh, with citrus and mineral notes. The moderately low alcohol content contributes to the wine's balance.

Suggestions: Seafood, grilled fish, white meats, mature cheeses or smoked meats.


This wine can be included in a vegetarian and vegan diet .

 

Quinta de Soalheiro

Quinta de Soalheiro is a pioneering winery in the production of wines with the Alvarinho grape variety in Melgaço, the northernmost tip of Portugal, where this Quinta is located in an environment protected by a mountain range that provides its vineyards with unbeatable conditions for the perfect maturation of this variety. It was in 1982 that João António Cerdeira, with the support of his father António Esteves Ferreira, created the first Alvarinho brand. Today, they continue working to offer wines that, thanks to their vibrant and elegant expression, constitute an international reference.
