Jaen Reserva Red 2020

The Jaen single varietal red wine is one of Taboadella's treasures. The intense aromas of ripe black fruits combined with allspice give this variety another dimension. The beautiful structure supported by soft, fine and coated tannins combines perfectly with the taut but delicate body of this wine.

Villae Rouge 2021

Composed of four exceptional grape varieties, Taboadella Villae Red is an aromatic symphony that could be described as a “perfect union”. Tinta Roriz gives it a robust texture and power, Jaen exalts its natural character, Alfrocheiro gives a mineral depth and Tinta Pinheira reveals sylvan and woody aromas.

 

Quinta da Taboadella

Taboadella is located in the heart of the Dão Demarcated Region, in Silvã de Cima, in the Castendo sub-region. The property is owned by the Amorim family, who have been linked to wine since 1870, when they began producing corks for the Port wine cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia. Since 1999, the Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo and Quinta da Taboadella properties have been managed by Luisa Amorim, who has since then taken the family wine business forward. Today, it forms one of the most important family groups in Portugal, expanding its activities internationally and across different sectors.
The wines and vineyards have ancestral roots in Portugal's wine regions of excellence - in the Douro with Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo and in the Dão with Quinta da Taboadella. Indigenous grape varieties are cultivated on 127 ha of vineyards where the alliance between traditional processes and sophisticated technology is the genesis of the creation of exceptional wines.
